MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) - A new transport and logistics center Great Stone-Beltamozhservice has opened its doors, BelTA learned from the company.
“The modern transport and logistics complex of the Minsk office of Beltamozhservice is expanding. The new transport and logistics center Great Stone-Beltamozhservice has opened its doors,” the company said.
The China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone is located in the center of Belarus, 25km from Minsk. It is a backbone of the Silk Road Economic Belt and serves as a communication link between Europe, the CIS and Russia. The Moscow-Berlin international highway (M1/E30) to Russia and Central Europe goes through the industrial park. Two major trans-European railway transport corridors provide connections to Europe and Russia, as well as to the Baltic and Black Seas, a direct connection to the Trans-Siberian Railway, and a direct connection to the transit international route Chongqing-Xinjiang-Europe. An international airport also makes part of the park.
“The transport and logistics center makes it possible to handle shipments that come in by various modes of transport. The center features floor and shelf storage. The warehouse complex of the terminal includes a temporary storage warehouse (for goods under customs control), a customs warehouse (for goods placed under the customs procedure of the customs warehouse) and a general use warehouse (for storage and handling of goods not under customs control),” the company explained.
Today, Great Stone-Beltamozhservice is one of the nine transport and logistics centers of Beltamozhservice.
