MINSK, 8 November (BelTA) – Belarus’ logistics operator Beltamozhservice continues to expand its cargo supply routes, BelTA has learned.

As trade flows redirect toward distant markets, the logistics operator has introduced a multimodal route to Egypt’s Port of Alexandria. This key maritime hub, with its advanced container infrastructure and regular lines accepting international cargo, opens new prospects for expanding business in Northern and Northeast African markets.

“We ensure the full logistics cycle: from providing equipment for loading to unloading at the port of Alexandria, including customs support and deadline control. The transit time is 18 days,” the enterprise said.

The Northern Sea Route also opens new opportunities for expanding the geography of supplies. “Transportation will continue during the 2026 navigation season. This is the shortest sea route connecting Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The estimated travel time is up to 35 calendar days,” the company’s press service noted.

The Northern Sea Route is a corridor along the northern coast of Eurasia through Russian Arctic waters. It offers a shorter passage between West and East than conventional southern corridors, creating an alternative trade artery for international trade during the navigation season.

Earlier, Beltamozhservice offered businesses an alternative route to Lithuania: rail delivery of cargo to or from the Molodechno station. The route enables transportation in railway wagons, customs clearance directly at the station, and stable logistics towards Lithuania. Reconfiguring logistics chains through railways will help prevent delays, preserve contracts and minimize risks. The cargo delivery time is 3-5 days.

A new multimodal route for delivering cargo to Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast via St. Petersburg has also been launched. It involves preliminary non-queue ferry booking. The estimated delivery time is 10 calendar days. Road and rail transport are used on different sections of the route. The company suggests delivering goods and products for Kaliningrad consignees by road to warehouses in Minsk, Gomel, Brest or Grodno, then reloading into covered wagons and dispatching by rail-ferry line.

Beltamozhservice logistics operator has been designated as the consolidator of export cargo transportation requests by rail to seaports, ferries, port terminals, and railway stations, acting as the consignor for deliveries to Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
