MINSK, 20 June (BelTA) - Enterprises run by the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim have adapted to sanctions, Belneftekhim Deputy Chairman Oleg Kurilin said in an interview to STV channel, BelTA has learned.
“We were the first to be targeted by sanctions in 2007, so we have already adjusted to a certain extent. Of course, the level of sanctions is unprecedented now, but we are finding ways. Most of our enterprises have not reduced production levels, and those that have are currently reorienting and are doing this quite successfully. The bulk of output goes to the Russian Federation. It is clear that we have partially reoriented to Asia as well,” Oleg Kurilin said.
