MINSK, 14 February (BelTA) – BelAZ, MTZ and MAZ were the most visited industrial tourism destinations in Belarus in 2023, Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Kharitonchik said at a meeting of the working group on industrial tourism, BelTA has learned.
“The industrial sites drawing the biggest number of tourists in 2023 were BelAZ (51,500 tourists, up by 58% over 2022), MTZ (19,200 tourists, up by 15%), and MAZ (6,886 tourists, up by 29%). Gomselmash, BATE, BMZ, Mogilevliftmash, Bobruiskagromash have good growth dynamics, too,” noted Dmitry Kharitonchik.
In general, all enterprises of the Industry Ministry posted an increase in tourist numbers last year, with some enterprises enjoying a many-fold increase in the number of visitors.
