MINSK, 7 May (BelTA) - In January-April 2021 Belarusians bought $348.9 million worth of foreign currency more than they sold, BelTA learned from the statistics released by the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
In January-April 2021 natural persons bought the equivalent of $3.408 billion in cash and cashless forms and sold $3.059 billion worth of foreign currency. The net purchase of foreign currency by natural persons totaled $348.9 million.
In January-April 2021 Belarusian corporations bought the equivalent of $8,229.6 billion and sold $8,444.9 billion worth of foreign currency. Non-residents of Belarus bought $134.8 million worth of foreign currency and sold $330 6 million.
