MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ intends to invest about Br100 million in buying equipment in 2024. The sum will be a third higher than the year before, the company’s press service told BelTA.
“The process of retooling continues at Minsk Tractor Works all the time. We are now increasing the output of certain models. We need new machine tools for that,” the company’s First Deputy Chief Industrial Engineer Ivan Kozlovsky said.
MTZ invested over Br70 million in retooling in 2023. The company acquired a total of 225 units of equipment as a result.
Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines not only in the CIS states but the entire world. Customers are offered over 100 tractor models in more than 200 modifications for all climatic and operational conditions. New models boast great capabilities with regard to the aggregation of agricultural machines of various manufacturers.
