Belarusian tractor maker MTZ eager to hit performance targets in 2025

MINSK, 30 December (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) will have to work hard in 2025 in order to hit key performance targets, BelTA learned from MTZ Director General Sergei Avramenko as the executive summed up performance in 2024 and sketched out plans for 2025.

Sergei Avramenko said: “We worked hard in 2024. On the whole, we did quite well but we have failed to hit the targets set by the government, by the Industry Ministry. Could we have done better? I am sure we could. Yes, outside and inside Belarus there were a number of factors that did not objectively help us reach the goals. But we had a reserve for turning round the situation and for doing better work.”

The MTZ director general stressed that in 2025 the company will have to work hard to hit the key targets. “It is necessary to understand that only a consolidated approach to dealing with issues will allow us to move forward. The situation on the markets is complicated,” the MTZ CEO noted. “The president said that we are slightly lost. I would like to wish to all of us to find ourselves together in 2025 and make a decent presentation the way we did in the previous years.”
