Belarusian timber companies discuss cooperation with Pakistani importers

MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - The National Center for Marketing and Price Study in cooperation with the Embassy of Belarus in Pakistan and the All-Pakistan Timber Traders Association have organized online B2B negotiations between Belarusian producers of wood products and Pakistani importers, BelTA learned from the center.

Director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study Nikolai Borisevich welcomed the participants at the beginning of the webinar. He emphasized the center's readiness to contribute to the development of business contacts between the two countries, identified opportunities for business events and the provision of a wide range of marketing services to further explore the potential of foreign markets.

During the video conference, Belarusian companies made presentations of business opportunities and expressed their interest in establishing direct contacts without third-country intermediaries. After the presentations, the negotiations continued in closed online rooms, where the details of further cooperation were discussed.

More than 30 companies from Belarus and Pakistan took part in the event. Belarus was represented by the leading industrial enterprises, including Bellesexport, Vitebskdrev, Borisovdrev, Rechitsadrev, Svetlogorsk Pulp and Board Mill.
