MINSK, 15 February (BelTA) - The Gomel Oblast Days were held in the national pavilion of Belarus at EXPO 2020, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian steel mill BMZ. The delegation was headed by Gomel Oblast Vice Governor Andrei Konyushko and included BMZ General Director Dmitry Korchik.
At the EXPO 2020, Gomel Oblast made several presentations on its investment, trade and economic potential. Representatives of Belarusian enterprises held talks with business circles of the UAE and other countries. According to the BMZ press service, the company signed a solid package of documents on mutually beneficial cooperation, including several contracts to supply its vehicles worth more than $100 million.
Dubai is hosting EXPO 2020 from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022. It features more than 200 participants from 190 countries.
