Belarusian scientists to present bioprinter in Dubai

MINSK, 14 January (BelTA) – The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will present a 4D printer in addition to other products during Expo 2020 in Dubai, BelTA learned from Director of the National Marketing Center of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Valery Sadokho.

The official said that the concept of Expo 2020 focuses on developing innovations, investments, and individuals. Cutting-edge scientific accomplishments will be showcased in the innovations sector. In particular, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus will present a 4D printer (aka bioprinter) which can reproduce live cells.

Eight companies of the Hi-Tech Park will also present their products in the innovations sector, including accomplishments in the area of healthcare, agriculture, and artificial intelligence.

“In the Individual area we are going to present Belarusians, who have played their role in world culture, depictive art, and other spheres. As far as the Investments area is concerned, we are going to talk about our legislation that attracts investors,” the director of the National Marketing Center continued.

On the whole, Valery Sadokho remarked that preparations for taking part in the forum proceed on schedule. The national pavilion is being built.

Expo 2020 is scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 20 October 2020 through 10 April 2021. As many as 190 countries have already confirmed their participation in the forum. The organizers expect to welcome over 25 million visitors.
