MINSK, 6 September (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Russian agreement on financing import-substituting projects is in the final stage of development, BelTA learned from First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov.
Nikolai Snopkov explained Belarus and Russia had developed a cooperation program, according to which Russia will finance import-substituting projects in Belarus.
The official said: “We are in the final stage of signing the agreement with the Russian Federation. But it does not mean that work is not going on. The signing of the financing scheme is in the final stage while hard work is going on on business plans and the passports that enterprises are supposed to prepare in order to get funding.”
