MINSK, 16 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian Railways is considering cooperation with the Russian diversified industrial and engineering holding company PTK Group, BelTA learned from the press center of the Belarusian Railways following a working meeting between Director of the Belarusian Railways Valery Verenich and the PTK Group Director General Sergei Malinov.
The parties discussed interaction on renewal of special railroad rolling stock of the Belarusian Railways track facilities. The presentation featured new technological solutions for the maintenance and repair of railway infrastructure, as well as a modern line of track vehicles.
Valery Verenich congratulated the holding company on the 155th anniversary of Tulazheldormash Plant and stressed that the range and technical characteristics of the track equipment produced by the company fully meet the requirements of the Belarusian mainline. These are track alignment machines, rail laying and crushed stone cleaning complexes.
“Taking into account the need of the Belarusian Railway in the reliable, highly productive track equipment, an agreement has been reached to work out a memorandum to consolidate the intentions of further cooperation,” the press center said.
