Belarusian products on display at Innoprom expo in Russian Yekaterinburg

MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – A massive national exposition of Belarus has been arranged at the Innoprom expo in the Russian city of Yekaterinburg, representatives of the BelInterExpo enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) told BelTA.

The Innoprom 2021 expo started working in Yekaterinburg on 5 July. Belarus' national exposition at the expo features stands of 40 industrial enterprises and scientific organizations.

The Belarusian delegation to the expo is led by Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik.

The international expo Innoprom is a key event for industrialists of Russia and the CIS states. Over 600 companies from 30 countries are taking part in the expo. National expositions have been arranged by Belarus, Belgium, Hungary, Germany, Zimbabwe, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Uzbekistan, Czechia, and Japan.

This year's expo focuses on agile manufacturing. Close attention is paid to modern fabrication technologies and to the adaption of industrial enterprises to rapidly changing conditions.

At the expo Belarusian enterprises and organizations showcase innovative solutions for metalworking and power engineering, industrial automation and mechanical engineering, mining industry and processing industry.

In particular, the Belarusian engine manufacturer MMZ put on display a small-power MMZ-3LD engine for compact agricultural machines and special-purpose machines and a diesel pump unit for oil industry and civil engineering industry. The pump can pump oil products, drill mud, cement, and other construction mixes. MMZ sells quite a lot in Russia, including via a proprietary trading house, and intends to start the joint production of small-power engines there.

The holding company Automotive Components presented a lineup of parts: starter motors, generators, and onboard systems. Many of them are already sold to Russia's main assembly lines, including the Belarusian company's key partner KamAZ.

The R&D products stand arranged by the State Science and Technology Committee features innovative products for the oil and gas industry: meters for metering and fiscal measurement of natural gas consumption of residential buildings and industrial enterprises. The committee also presented the highly effective absorbent Penopurm. The innovative material is designed to absorb oil spills.

The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus demonstrated new materials, which can replace laminated electromagnetic steel for making transformers, electric motors, and generators, and other R&D products for electric transport industry, mining industry, mechanical engineering industry, solutions for automating manufacturing processes at industrial enterprises.

The Belarusian steel mill BMZ presented a new product – graded round bars made of C50 mod carbon steel for manufacturers of automobile components. The technology can help the manufacturers improve their production cycle.

The Mogilev-based lift manufacturer Mogilevliftmash presented a lineup of lift equipment under the trademark Movel among other things. Such lifts are fitted with an uninterrupted power supply unit, which allows passengers to safely evacuate in case of power outage. Lifts without a machine room is a promising direction in lift manufacturing. During the expo Mogilevliftmash also intends to demonstrate new automobile parking systems for densely populated areas.

The Belarusian microchip manufacturer Integral presented new microelectronic components for space industry.

This year's Innoprom expo uses a hybrid format. It is the first time Belarus' offline national exposition is accompanied by an online platform, which allows finding the Belarusian pavilion at the expo, see the featured products, and get contact information of the enterprises. The online platform is available at https://www.belinterexpo.by/innoprom/.

The Belarusian exposition at the Innoprom expo has been arranged by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The co-organizers are the Industry Ministry, the State Science and Technology Committee, the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and the Education Ministry.

The expo will stay open through 8 July 2021.
