MINSK, 6 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ and the Russian state agricultural machinery leasing company Rosagroleasing have signed a price agreement on selling MTZ tractors with the engine output of 80-155hp, the company's press service told BelTA.
MTZ Deputy Marketing Director for CIS Mikhail Vardugin said: “The agreement does not specify a concrete number of tractors. We've agreed that deliveries will be arranged upon orders of customers. As many as 100 tractors have been shipped to Rosagroleasing and another 50 will be shipped soon.”
According to the source, a price agreement on selling MTZ products is about to be signed between OOO TPK MTZ-Tatarstan (MTZ's representative in Russia) and AO Rosagroleasing.
Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark) was established on 29 May 1946. It was reincorporated into a holding company in August 2014. MTZ is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines not only in the CIS states but the entire world. MTZ employs over 16,000 people. Customers are offered over 100 tractor models in more than 200 modifications for all climatic and operational conditions.
