MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ is considering the possibility of organizing assembly facility of BELARUS tractors in Vietnam, BelTA learned from the MTZ press service.
MTZ Director General Vitaly Vovk met with Nguyen Bao Thi, Director of the Vietnamese company New Atlantic International Trading JSC, to discuss the immediate prospects for cooperation.
"Based on the tests of the BELARUS 451 tractor in Vietnam, our company is working on a possibility of assembling this model. The company is interested in assembling tractors for their subsequent sale not only in the country but also in other countries of Southeast Asia," said Yulia Arabei, deputy head of the promotion and sale department at MTZ.
