Belarusian manufacturers to take part in Uzbekistan-Belarus Women's Business Forum

MINSK,  8 August (BelTA) - The Industry Ministry held a working meeting on the preparation and participation of enterprises affiliated with the Industry  Ministry in the second Uzbekistan-Belarus Women's Business Forum, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry. 

Deputy Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov and Minsk First Vice Mayor Nadezhda Lazarevich took part in the meeting that discussed  the work on the stand of the Industry Ministry, its stylistic design, and the list of exhibits.

The second Uzbekistan-Belarus Women's Business Forum will be held in Tashkent at the end of August. The organizers are the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus. An exhibition-presentation will be co-located with the forum. The Belarusian part of the exposition will be organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Belinterexpo company. 

Belarusian products are in high demand among Uzbekistan’s consumers. Uzbekistan’s importers have been working to expand the range of Belarusian goods on the market and strengthen ties with Belarusian producers. Production cooperation has recently become one of the key areas of Belarus-Uzbekistan interaction. Belarusian producers are ready to offer their partners from Uzbekistan a wide range of goods and services. 

Participation of the Industry Ministry enterprises in the second Uzbekistan-Belarus Women's Business Forum will contribute to the development and establishment of new bilateral business contacts, will unlock the potential for further work, and will add momentum to the Belarus-Uzbekistan trade and economic cooperation.
