MINSK, 21 May (BelTA) - Belarusian manufacturers are taking part in the Saudi Food Show 2024 in Riyadh, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo Belchamber of Commerce and Industry.
Saudi Food Show, according to the organizers, is a platform for the largest companies in the food industry to present their products, services, and solutions to a global audience. The Saudi Food Show is affiliated with Gulfood, the world’s largest food and hospitality business event in the world.
Saudi Arabia demonstrates dynamic development primarily due to the strategic program Vision 2030 aimed at driving the country’s economic transformation from a state dependent on hydrocarbons to a developed high-tech society. The emphasis is on tripling industrial output.

The Belarusian participants are showcasing a wide range of dairy products selected specifically for this exhibition, including milk powder, cheeses and desserts. Products from domestic manufacturers are in particular demand in the region, which proves their high quality.
Thus, Slutsk Cheese Factory has presented a line of lactose-free dairy products, premium cheeses with ginger, chia seeds, safflower petals, black and white truffles, frozen cheeses of the Kletskaya Krynachka and Yas Belous trademarks, and A2 milk, an innovative product that contains A2 type milk protein and lacks A1 beta-casein.
A wide range of products has been presented by one of the leaders of the country's dairy industry Molochny Mir, including premium cheeses, hard cheeses Parmesan, Maasdam, Goroden, cheese with black truffle, whole milk, whole cream, frozen Goroden cheese curds, powdered dairy products (skimmed milk, including instant and low-temperature products) and innovative products (whey protein concentrate 80%, instant low-temperature skimmed milk powder). The company exports more than 65% of its output; its processing capacity is about 660,000 tons per year.
The leading dairy industry enterprise Milkavita, whose product portfolio features more than 150 items, offers packaged milk and cream with long shelf life, butter, and dry dairy products with improved solubility and temperature treatment characteristics. Saudi Arabia is one of the key partners of the enterprise.
During the Saudi Food Show expo, the organizers are to arrange presentations of promising startups and innovators in the field of public catering, including seminars and negotiation platforms with Belarusian participants.
