MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) - Beltamozhservice and the Chinese international transport company Taitong International Transport Co., Ltd signed an agreement on partnership and strategic cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian company.
The agreement aims to make transportation between Belarus and China more attractive. According to the document, the companies shall interact logistics support in Belarus, customs clearance services, Belarusian-Chinese railway transportation, and facilitate the cooperation between the customs services of the two countries.
According to Yelena Skripchik, First Deputy Director General at Beltamozhservice, the agreement will help facilitate trade, promote export, import and transit traffic, attract new cargo flows, optimize customs operations, and improve the quality of transport services.
Beltamozhservice and Taitong International Transport Co., Ltd will seek to find the most effective options for the transportation of goods and optimal solutions in the logistics chain, using the capacity, infrastructure and knowledge of the two parties.
Beltamozhservice is a national logistics operator, a major exporter of goods of Belarusian producers, a trade trader, an exchange broker at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. The company promotes relations between foreign buyers and Belarusian producers to secure a full range of services for the export of goods.
Taitong International Transport Co., Ltd is a large transport company of the Chinese province of Hebei. The company specializes in freight road, rail, sea and air transportation, and warehousing. On 26 April 2016, the company successfully launched Hebei-Europe International Freight Train.
