GOMEL, 8 October (BelTA) – The Belarusian harvester manufacturer Gomselmash presented a broad lineup of agricultural machines at the Agrosalon 2020 expo, which is taking place in Moscow on 6-9 October, BelTA has learned.
Every day is full of business events for Gomselmash. On 7 October Gomselmash Director General Aleksandr Novikov signed three agreements on cooperation: with Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation, Agriculture Minister Sergei Artamonov, Deputy Chairman of the Ryazan Oblast Government Dmitry Filippov, and Ryazan Oblast Agriculture and Food Minister Boris Shemyakin. Agreements on strategic cooperation were also signed by First Deputy Director General of AO Rosagroleasing Aleksandr Suchkov, Director General of ZAO SP Bryanskselmash Andrei Kuznetsov, and Director of OAO Lidagroprommash Vitaly Yakubchik.
Gomselmash representatives said: “The beginning of the expo was a success for our company not only due to the signed agreements but due to higher sales of agricultural machines. During Agrosalon 2020 Gomselmash sold two FS80 harvesters, 15 GS12A1 harvesters, and 15 upgraded GS12 PRO harvesters.”
Attention of the expo visitors was riveted to Gomselmash's GH800 harvester. It is a grain harvester with a hybrid threshing and separation module. The new harvester also boasts a more comfortable driver's cab and a more powerful 450hp engine.
Visitors of the expo also showed a strong interest in the grain harvester GS418K, which uses methane as fuel. The harvester's emission of toxic substances is reduced by 2-3 times thanks to that. Methane also makes the harvester compliant with Stage 5 environmental standards. Fuel is stored in eight bottles made of extremely durable carbon fiber and able to store a total of 1,816 liters of gas. The harvester can work for at least eight hours without refueling.
Gomselmash's product lineup at the expo also featured the popular grain harvester GS12 with a redesigned driver's cab and the powerful forage harvester FS80.
Agrosalon is Russia's top venue for demonstrating innovative technological solutions for agribusiness. It is organized by the largest agricultural machinery industry associations of Russia and Germany – Rosspetsmash and VDMA Landtechnik.
