MINSK, 23 August (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Georgia Nikolai Rogashchuk took part in a solemn opening of the eighth shop of the Belarusian food store chain Belmart in Tbilisi, Georgia, representatives of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
Belmart’s shops offer a broad range of Belarusian products from 35 leading producers, including Pinsk Meat-Packing Plant, Brest Meat Processing Plant, Incofood, Molochny Mir, Bellakt, Pervy Molochny, Brest Ice Cream, Lidkon, Spartak, Alivaria, Minsk Kristall, Soligorsk Poultry Factory, Lidakhleboproduct, AVD Production, and many other ones.
The shops offer a broad range of dairy products and meat products, confectionery, flour-milling products, alcohol products, tea, honey, and coffee. There are plans to open more shops in various cities across Georgia by the end of 2025. The work of Belarusian food store chains has stimulated an increase in food export directly from manufacturers to Georgia.
A total of 31 shops of three Belarusian food store chains operate in the Georgian cities of Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Poti, and Kutaisi.
