MINSK, 13 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian food concentrates manufacturer OAO Lidapishchekontsentraty (Lidkon trademark) has commissioned a new line to make cereal flakes, the press service of the Belarusian state food industry concern Belgospishcheprom told BelTA.
The new line has been installed to replace worn-out equipment. The cereal flakes division has been upgraded in order to increase the output capacity and enable the production of all kinds of flakes on one line, including instant ones. The new equipment will also increase the quality of finished products.
New equipment will also be installed in the food concentrates division as part of an agglomeration development project (better solubility of beverages).
In 2020 Lidapishchekontsentraty's investments totaled Br2.507 million, 120.1% as against 2019. As much as Br836,300 (34.3% of the total) was invested in modernizing the cereal flakes division. As much as Br469,400 (18.7%) was invested as part of the agglomeration development project.
