Belarusian Finance Ministry collecting bids for RUB10bn government bond issue

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian Finance Ministry is collecting bids of investors for buying government bonds nominated in Russian rubles with the maturity period of five years, BelTA has learned.

BelTA reported earlier that on 16 April the Belarusian Finance Ministry started a premarketing campaign for issuing government bonds on the Russian financial market in association with a number of Russian banks, which have organized the issue. The banks are Gazprombank, Sovcombank, and Otkritie Bank. The Eurasian Development Bank is a co-organizer of the issue.
