MINSK, 5 September (BelTA) – An exposition of Belarusian manufacturers is presented at the Intra-African Trade Fair IATF 2025 in Algeria, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Goods and products of domestic manufacturers are in particular demand on the North African market. Expanding trade with Algeria is a key economic priority for Belarus. To boost exports, Belarusian manufacturers are actively participating in major multi-industry exhibitions in Algeria, organized by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Belinterexpo.
Belarus is expanding its export footprint in Africa with its debut at the Intra-African Trade Fair IATF 2025. Following a successful presence at the DJAZAGRO food exhibition since 2024, Belarus now showcases its engineering and pharmaceutical sectors for the first time. Major companies like MAZ, Belmedpreparaty, Babushkina Krynka and the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange are presenting automotive, pharmaceutical, and dairy products, as well as promising projects. Their high-quality offerings have already garnered positive feedback from high-profile visitors.
Supported by Algeria’s ministries, the Intra-African Trade Fair functions as a key driver for trade, economic dialogue, and investment. As part of the event, a delegation from the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange is scheduled to conduct business negotiations and take part in a specialized business forum.
According to Belinterexpo, Algeria offers significant economic potential for Belarusian manufacturers, serving as a strategic hub for connecting with businesses across the Mediterranean, Arab, and African markets. At IATF 2025, participants can leverage the Africa Trade Gateway (ATG), which is a unique digital ecosystem that links buyers, sellers, and traders with reliable partners across Africa and beyond. The event is set to feature around 80 thematic events in just seven days, with several sessions including representatives from Belarus, its business community, and international partners.
