MINSK, 7 July (BelTA) - Belarusian Cement Plant posted almost Br1.7 million in net profit in May, BelTA learned from the website of Belarusian Cement Company.
"We summed up the performance in January-May 2021 and the results are impressive, especially for May," the company said in a statement posted on its website. Thus, the output in actual prices in January-May amounted to Br115.9 million, up by 14.2% year-on-year. The volume of production came at almost 710,000 tonnes of cement (up by 7.3%). Productivity in current prices per employee increased by 15.6% year-on-year, and revenue per average employee - by 10.6%.
The company reported Br7 million in sales profit in January-May 2021 (half of this amount came in May). Sales margins went by 6.7% in January-May and by 13.8% in May. Return on sale rose by 5.6% during the period under review, and by 10.8% in May. Also in May, Belarusian Cement Plant received almost Br1.7 million in net profit.
Belarusian Cement Plant is part of the Belarusian Cement Company Holding Company, a flagship of the Belarusian construction industry, one of the largest manufacturers of construction products. The company has secured a foothold on the markets of Russia and the European Union (Lithuania, Latvia, Poland).
