Belarusian Cement Company opens representative office in Poland

MINSK,26 February (BelTA) - Belarusian Cement Company (BCC) has opened a representative office in Poland - BKC-Polska Sp.zo.o. trading house, BelTA learned from BCC.

“Our company opened a representative office in Poland early this year due to increased demand for Belarusian cement in Eastern and Central Europe in 2019. This move has improved supply logistics. European, Polish, German and other partners have an opportunity now to conclude supply contracts directly with the company,” the company noted.

Besides, BCC participated in the BUDMA 2020 international construction and architecture fair where the companies of the Belarusian holding company showcased their products. Cement traditionally attracts special interest since its quality is confirmed by Russian and European certificates. As a result, BCC concluded more than 20 preliminary agreements to supply cement to Poland from Krichevtsementnoshifer and Krasnoselskstrojmaterialy plants.

Director of Krichevtsementnoshifer plant Vladimir Korchevsky believes that participation in the fair was extremely useful. “The preliminary agreements with Polish partners, who are demanding about the cement quality, will enable us to increase export by at least 10% in 2020,” the director noted.
