Belarusian businesses with localized raw materials, logistics promised government support

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – A commercial enterprise where raw materials and logistics are localized as much as possible is more viable, BelTA learned from Director of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Belarusian Economy Ministry Olga Rusinovich.

According to the Economy Ministry press service, the Vitebsk Oblast administration helped organize an open dialogue of Director of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Belarusian Economy Ministry Olga Rusinovich and Director General of the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurship Piotr Arushanyants with constituent entities of the business incubator Law and Order. Representatives of the business community talked about the problems, which they believe need to be addressed by the government. Olga Rusinovich and Piotr Arushanyants participated in the discussion about possible ways to resolve those problems.

Olga Rusinovich said: “In the current conditions a commercial enterprise, which model, raw materials, and logistics are localized as much as possible, is more viable. The model makes transactions with business partners and the financial state of the organizations steadier in addition to providing a guaranteed portfolio of orders. This is why via the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus the government intends to offer attractive tools to support existing manufacturing enterprises and encourage the creation of new ones on the basis of manufacturing cooperation of small enterprises with industrial giants.”

Piotr Arushanyants talked about a Belarusian information resource dedicated to subcontracting. The platform guarantees a custom approach to any enterprise looking for a customer.
