MINSK, 28 October (BelTA) - A Belarusian business delegation is visiting Kenya to expand economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Kenya.
"In the course of the business mission of the Belarusian delegation to explore markets in East Africa, the Belarusian Embassy in Nairobi organized a meeting of Belarusian and Kenyan business circles on 27 October at the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Kenya Pavel Vzyatkin and Chairman of the Kenyan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Richard Ngatia," the embassy said.
In his speech at the plenary meeting Ambassador Pavel Vzyatkin noted the complementarity of the economies of Belarus and Kenya, the potential and prospects for expanding economic cooperation and trade between the two countries. He also talked about the financial instruments regarding the supply of Belarusian products to the African region.
During the event, representatives of Belarusian enterprises held negotiations with Kenyan companies. The work of the Belarusian business delegation in Kenya continues.
