Belarusian Bobruiskagromash to supply forage harvesters to Uzbekistan

 MINSK, 26 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Bobruiskagromash will supply a batch of forage harvesters to Uzbekistan, BelTA learned from the company’s press service.

Bobruiskagromash hosted the director of the Krantash Savdo va Servis company Akmal Yusupjanov on 25 February who got familiar with the company’s product line-up and manufacturing capabilities. 

Akmal Yusupjanov noted that the region has an increased focus on the development of the agricultural sector and cotton production. During the meeting, the Uzbek partner was particularly interested in the PRP-160 Beaver baler, the PRT-7A/MTT-9 solid organic fertilizer applicator and the KIR-1,5-02 semi-trailer grass-mowing and grinding machine. 

Following the talks, the parties mapped out the main areas of bilateral cooperation in terms of supply of farm machines to the Central Asian region. The parties also talked over the project to set up assembly facilities for Bobruiskagromash equipment in Uzbekistan. Agreements were also reached to conduct joint trials of the KRH-1 cotton cultivator-plant feeder in Uzbekistan to determine its compliance with the requirements of the local market. 
 
The parties signed a contract to supply forage harvesting equipment to Uzbekistan. The first batch will be shipped to Uzbekistan in March-April 2024.

The Uzbek partners also expressed interest in expanding supplies of tillage equipment and machines for applying fertilizers.

The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Bobruiskagromash is a major manufacturer of mounted and trailed farm machinery in Eastern Europe. The company manufactures over 150 names of farm machinery. Bobruiskagromash supplies its products to over 50 countries
