MOGILEV, 15 June (BelTA) – A new spreader of mineral fertilizers has been developed by the Belarusian mechanical engineering company Bobruiskagromash, the company's press service told BelTA.
The RU-7000-1 model boasts a bucket and bracing elements made of stainless steel. The machine has been developed taking into account what a farmer needs while working in the field. The mineral fertilizer spreader was presented at the international expo Belagro 2021.
The vehicle's carrying capacity is 8 tonnes. It can be used to spread mineral fertilizers on an area of 5.2 to 27.5 hectares per hour in strips of 8-22 meters. The spreader can be attached to drawbar category 2 tractors. The machine is designed to uniformly spread solid mineral fertilizers, calcareous materials, and chemical ameliorants, which guarantees their more effective application and higher crop yields.
Since many parts of the mineral fertilizer spreader are made of stainless steel, the machine will last several times longer than an average product. The machine is designed to transport bulk materials and unload them using its own transfer conveyor. The machine is controlled from the driver's cab – an onboard computer does programming and controls how much of the fertilizer is applied.
Bobruiskagromash will sell the new machine in Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Estonia, and other countries.
The public joint-stock company (OAO) Bobruiskagromash is one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machines and implements in Eastern Europe. The company has been working on the agricultural machinery market since 1974. The product choice includes over 150 titles. At present Bobruiskagromash products are sold to more than 50 countries across the globe.
