MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – In line with the long-term strategic partnership agreement, The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ will supply 29 haul trucks to mining companies of the Kuzbassrazrezugol Coal Company in the next few months, BelTA learned from the the press service of the Belarusian enterprise.
The Belarusian company shipped three 220-tonne BelAZ-75306 trucks to Kedrovsky coal mine, one of Kuzbassrazrezugol's production facilities at the end of January. In February-April, 26 more BelAZ truck s will be shipped to Kuzbassrazrezugol, one of the largest coal companies in Russia.
"Relying on the long-standing traditions in design, the modern, reliable and productive 220-tonne BelAZ-75306 giants are among the most popular rock haulers, enjoying a steady demand in the foreign markets,” the press service stressed.
BelAZ has been cooperating with Kuzbassrazrezugol for more than half a century. Over the past decades the companies have developed a close and fruitful partnership. Belarusian trucks dominate the fleet of mining equipment used by Kuzbassrazrezugol (this is more than 500 units).
Also, the flagship coal company of Kemerovo Oblast employs both BelAZ trucks for mining and transport and also BelAZ special-purpose vehicles of (watering machines, tug-trucks, loaders, bulldozers).
The public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the managing company of the holding company BelAZ. BelAZ is the world's leading manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for mining industry and civil engineering industry. BelAZ accounts for some 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world's largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
