Belarusian BelAZ ships five 220-tonne trucks to Russian coal-mining company

MINSK, 12 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ has supplied five haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity to the Russian company SUEK-Kuzbass, BelTA has learned.

The haul trucks BelAZ-75306 with the carrying capacity of 220 tonnes were delivered to the motor pool of the open-pit coal mines Zarechny and Zarechny North. The trucks have already been put to use.

At present the motor vehicle fleet of the company SUEK-Kuzbass has 55 BelAZ trucks with the carrying capacity of 130 tonnes and 220 tonnes.

The public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the managing company of the holding company BelAZ. BelAZ is the world's leading manufacturer of haul trucks and transport equipment for mining industry and civil engineering industry. BelAZ accounts for some 30% of the world market of haul trucks with an extremely large carrying capacity. The company makes the world's largest haul truck with the carrying capacity of 450 tonnes.
