MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) - Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) together with MAZ-RUS (official distributor of MAZ in Moscow and regions) will roll out the MAZ 271E electric apron bus at the NAIS 2025 civil aviation infrastructure exhibition in Moscow.
The interior of the new electric bus is designed for transportation of 90-100 passengers, depending on the interior layout. MAZ 271E is designed to maximize passenger comfort and safety and has a number of advantages: improved climate control system, folding ramp for wheelchair users, smooth running and environmental efficiency. In January, Minsk National Airport started operating this model.
"We expect business meetings and negotiations," the MAZ press service said.
MAZ is one of Belarus' largest mechanical engineering companies. It specializes in making heavy-duty trucks, special-purpose vehicles, buses, trolleybuses, and trailing units. The company makes a total of over 500 models and 3,000 modifications of tractor units, dropside trucks, chassis for mounting various kinds of equipment, about 15 models of buses, trolleybuses and electric buses.
