Belarusian Amkodor to supply 50 assembly kits to Egypt

MINSK, 21 February (BelTA) - The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor will deliver 50 assembly kits to Egypt, BelTA learned from the press service of the company.

“Amkodor signed a contract to supply 50 assembly kits to Egypt. They will be assembled at Egyptian Tank Factory 200,” the press service noted. This will be the first stage to localize the production of Amkodor vehicles in Egypt, the company said.

A memorandum was signed to set up a joint venture. It will produce machines for the needs of agriculture, utilities, construction (including road construction) on the basis of the National Organization for Military Production of Egypt.

Founded in 1927, the industrial group Amkodor is one of the leading manufacturers of special-purpose vehicles and machines in Belarus and the CIS states. Its enterprises make over 5,000 sophisticated special-purpose vehicles every year.
