MOSCOW, 23 December (BelTA) - Direct supplies from Belarusian producers were high on the agenda of a meeting between Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Aleksandr Rogozhnik and Maria Eksler, Deputy Director of Russia's largest retail chain X5 Retail Group, BelTA learned from the press service of the diplomatic mission.
The parties considered the presence of Belarusian-made consumer goods on the shelves of Pyaterochka, Perekrestok and other chains owned by X5 Retail Group, exchanged views on supply mechanisms, opportunities to ramp up export volumes and range representation and ways to increase the visibility of Belarusian brands in the company's stores.
“The parties reaffirmed commitment to increasing direct supplies from manufacturers to the retail chains and agreed on the avenues of further cooperation,” the press service noted.
