MINSK, 10 January (BelTA) – Belarus can export 25-30% of the domestic egg production, Valentina Odintsova, Head of the Agriculture and Fish Farming Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, told BelTA.
"We produce enough eggs to fully satisfy the domestic demand and to export the surplus, which is about 25-30% of the output,” Valentina Odintsova said.
The main export destination is Russia. Belarus has stepped up egg export to the neighboring country to help it to meet the current deficit.
