Belarus, Uzbekistan thrash out plans to deepen economic cooperation

MINSK, 15 April (BelTA) – Director of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study of Belarus Nikolai Borisevich has met with Chairman of the Board of Uztrade Abror Kurbanov, BelTA has learned from the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.

The parties discussed promising avenues of cooperation, including plans to deepen foreign economic activity and make it more consistent. They also discussed Belarusian commodity items with the highest export potential, including foodstuffs (meat and dairy products, confectionery, etc.) and woodworking products.

Abror Kurbanov made a presentation about Uztrade, which is a state foreign trade company operating under the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.

Nikolai Borisevich presented the capabilities of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study and expressed readiness to act as a business navigator for Uzbekistan on the Belarusian market.
