MINSK, 1 June (BelTA) - The Communications and Informatization Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan signed a plan of measures to develop cooperation. The document was signed by heads of the two departments during a working meeting on 31 May, BelTA learned from the website of the Communications and Informatization Ministry of Belarus.
Communications and Informatization Minister Konstantin Shulgan and Minister for Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Shuhrat Sadikov discussed issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in information and communication technologies (ICT) between the departments and signed a corresponding action plan (road map).
The communications and informatization minister noted that the plan was developed as a follow-up of the agreement signed in Minsk on 1 August 2019 between the Communications and Informatization Ministry of Belarus and the Ministry for the Development of Information Technology and Telecommunications of Uzbekistan on cooperation in information and communication technologies.
