MINSK, 5 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Transport and Communications Minister Aleksei Avramenko visited the Belarusian transport operator Belmagistralavtotrans to discuss ways to improve the company's performance, its investment policy for the next five-year period, and efforts to increase exports, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.
Belmagistralavtotrans Director General Aleksandr Zenkevich briefed the minister about the company's projected performance in terms of social and economic targets in Q1 2021 and took stock of the results of 2020. “We have doubled down on diversification of transportation services export and increased shipping in the European Union. We have also improved the structure of the company and its affiliated enterprises while operating in a normal mode. Work has also been underway to improve the quality of technological processes and raising the company's efficiency,” he said.
In the near future, the company intends to focus on expanding the range of services, getting access to new markets, and upgrading its vehicle fleet.
Belmagistralavtotrans is a versatile company that includes a motor transport unit, a freight forwarding unit, a transport and logistics center, and service stations. Its main avenues of work are international freight transportation and freight forwarding services. The company operates a fleet of 183 freight vehicles.
