MINSK, 17 February (BelTA) – Belarus will arrange a national exposition at the Vietnam Expo due in Hanoi on 13-16 April, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Belarus will take part in the event in Vietnam for the eighth time. Previously, the country had its exposition in Hanoi in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2016 and in Ho Chi Minh City in 2011, 2014 and 2018. Traditionally, the Belarusian exposition is the largest country pavilion at Vietnam Expo.
In 2022, the Belarusian exposition will receive the honorary Special Guest status, which implies a central placement, active advertising and information support and large-scale congress events, including the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum, which will become an additional opportunity for business networking and concluding export contracts.
The Belarusian exposition at the Vietnam Expo in Hanoi will feature the National Academy of Sciences, petrochemical industry enterprises such as Belshina, Gomel Chemical Plant, Grodno Azot, Mogilevkhimvolokno, Naftan, dairy producer Babushkina Krynka, engineering and pharmaceutical companies. It is expected that the Belarusian exposition will occupy an area of more than 200 square meters. The exposition will be ready by early March. Belarusian producers of goods and services of all forms of ownership are invited to take part in the national exposition.
Vietnam Expo is one of the largest universal trade and economic platforms in Southeast Asia, held alternately in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. Vietnam Expo will cover four sections which will showcase machinery and components, petrochemicals, digital technology in trade and manufacturing, telecommunications equipment, pharmaceuticals and medical products, food and beverages, electronics, home appliances and tools. Vietnam Expo will feature more than 350 companies from 16 countries, including Cambodia, China, Cuba, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Russia, Sri Lanka and the United States.
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the organizer of the Belarusian national exposition at Vietnam Expo. Co-organizers are the Education Ministry, Industry Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry, State Committee on Science and Technology, National Academy of Sciences, Belgospishcheprom, Bellesbumprom, Belneftekhim, Minsk City Hall, regional administrations. Exhibition operator is Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
