MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) - The National Center for Marketing and Price Study is gearing up to present a collective exposition of Belarus at the international food processing, packaging technology and equipment industry exhibition Morocco Siema Expo, which will be held in Casablanca from 9 to 11 September, BelTA learned from the National Export Promotion Institute.
Morocco Siema Expo is considered to be one of the largest exhibition events in food processing, packaging and equipment in the North African region. The last year’s edition featured 235 companies from 29 countries: Morocco, Russia, China, Türkiye, Egypt, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iran, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Pakistan, Jordan, Tunisia, Kuwait, Mali, Japan, Hungary, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Canada, Ukraine. The event welcomed more than 15,000 visitors.
Morocco Siema Expo can be divided into three main sections: food industry and processing, agricultural machinery and equipment, packaging technology and logistics.
Morocco's economy is characterized by a high degree of dependence on both external economic factors and natural and climatic phenomena, in particular droughts. According to the Russian Federal Center for Agroexport, due to climate change in recent years, Morocco is increasingly experiencing droughts, which leads to a sharp decline in yields and leads to a significant shortage of agricultural raw materials against the background of a decline in production.
According to specialists of the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, participation in the collective exposition at the international exhibition of food industry, processing, packaging and equipment Morocco Siema Expo will let Belarus present its products, services and technologies to a wide specialized audience and to establish business contacts with potential partners.
The center will provide Belarusian enterprises with a range of services for participation in the collective exposition, including the development of the exposition design project, construction and design of the stand, the solution of organizational issues, optimal air travel, hotel and transfer.
