Belarus to reduce oil export duties on 1 October

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – On 1 October 2020 Belarus will reduce customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers' Resolution No.567 of 30 September 2020, BelTA has learned.

The export duty on crude oil will make up $45.4 per tonne, down from $47.5.

The export duty on straight-run gasoline will go down from $26.1 to $24.9 per tonne. The export duty on commercial gasoline, light and middle distillates will make up $13.6 down from $14.2 per tonne. The same rate will be applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 September. Then, they were revised upwards.
