Belarus to reduce export duties on oil, oil products on 1 October

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – On 1 October 2022 Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and oil products which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Council of Ministers issued relevant resolution No.654 on 29 September 2022, BelTA learned from the National Legal Internet Portal.

In line with the resolution the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils will be $44.4 per tonne ($52 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline will be set at $24.4 per tonne ($28.6 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants will make up $13.3 per tonne (down from $15.6).

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downward on 1 September 2022.
