Belarus to reduce export duties on oil, oil products on 1 June

MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) – On 1 June 2022 Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in line with the Council of Ministers' resolution No.345 of 28 May 2022, BelTA learned from the national legal internet portal.

In line with the resolution the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils will be $44.8 per tonne ($49.6 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline will be set at $24.6 per tonne ($27.2 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants will make up $13.4 per tonne (down from $14.8).

The resolution takes effect on 1 June 2022.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 May 2022.
