Belarus to debut at Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo in Dubai

MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) – For the first time Belarusian products will be showcased at the Middle East Organic and Natural Product Expo Dubai (MENOPE) that will be held on 6-8 December. An export mission from Belarus will take part in the expo and the business program, BelTA learned from the BelInterExpo enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

“The organic and natural products segment is showing robust growth in the Middle East and North Africa. Experts predict that in 2022 this region will import organic and natural cosmetics worth $5 billion, and organic food and drinks worth $18.42 billion. Customers are becoming better informed and more aware of how food products and cosmetics affect their health. In addition, the status of Dubai as a key re-export platform makes the MENOPE expo even more attractive and effective,” BelInterExpo said.

The expo will focus on five natural market segments such as Food & Beverages, Health, Beauty, Living and Environment. An estimated 250 companies from 48 countries will attend the expo. National pavilions will be run by Austria, Armenia, Greece, Georgia, India, Spain, Italy, Iran, Latvia, New Zealand, Russia and Thailand. The expo is expected to draw 14,000 niche buyers and 600 VIP buyers.

“The online promotion and matchmaking tools offered by MENOPE deserve special attention. Twenty-five products of each participating company will be presented on the website promoted throughout the year,” BelInterExpo informed.

The program of the expo will include seminars and conferences on organic agriculture, healthy eating, medicine and health improvement, organic drinks. Organic Super Kitchen will host master classes on cooking from natural ingredients. The Beauty Lounge will showcase make-up tutorials using organic cosmetics, and the farmers' market will offer visitors fresh produce.
