MINSK, 9 January (BelTA) – On 8 January, Belarus' prime minister signed Resolution No.2р to set up an interdepartmental working group to cooperate with the World Bank as part of the Human Capital Project, BelTA learned from the press service of the government.

As a result of this cooperation, Belarus will be able to join the World Bank's Human Capital Index, which is part of the Human Capital Project. Taking into account Belarus' position on the Human Capital Index, the group is expected to outline ways to improve the country's human capital policy and, if necessary, to submit relevant suggestions to the government.

The Economy Ministry shall provide organizational support to the working group. Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Yaroshevich has been put in charge of the group.
