MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) – Belarus is ready to build turnkey grain drying complexes and grain storage facilities in Zimbabwe, Belarusian Agriculture and Food Minister Yuri Gorlov told BelTA.
"We are developing constructive relations with Zimbabwe. Although this is a new direction for us, our delegation has already visited Zimbabwe three times. Accordingly, certain plans are being made. We supply Zimbabwe with dry skimmed milk. Zimbabwe is also interested in receiving dry baby food from our country," Yuri Gorlov noted.
According to him, Belarus has proposed several projects in animal husbandry and poultry farming, as well as the construction of grain drying complexes. "The Zimbabwean side shows interest in building grain storage facilities, so we are cooperating with them in this area as well. We will try to reach some consensus. We have companies that are ready to design and build these facilities on a turnkey basis," the minister stressed.
