MINSK, 26 May (BelTA) - Belarus is taking part in the 22nd Kazakhstan International Exhibition “Foodstuffs, Drinks, Ingredients, Packaging And Equipment For Food Industry” (InterFood Astana), which is underway in Nur-Sultan, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Belarusian exposition is represented by large food companies, demonstrating their best products. The total exhibition space is 48 square meters.
Minsk Dairy Plant No.1 displays milk, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese, cheeses, puddings and many more. Molochny Mir offers whole-milk products, cheese, whey powder and ice cream. Oshmyany Meat Processing Plant showcases beef and by-products, edible fats and sausages. Slutsk Cheese Factory has brought to the expo its whole milk products, cheeses, butter and powdered mik products. Among the novelties are sugar-free chocolate glazed curd bars, and Bela Bovino soft cheeses and curd cream.
The Belarusian exposition has been organized by the exhibition company Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The exposition has been organized with the support of the Belarusian embassy in Kazakhstan.
The InterFood Astana expo is attended by over 60 companies from six countries: Belarus, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. The event is supported by the Akimat of Nur-Sultan city, the Kazakhstan Academy of Nutrition, and the Association of Packers of Kazakhstan. Thematic sections of the exhibition include food additives and ingredients, beverages, tea, coffee, equipment for food and beverage production, packaging and packaging technology, refrigeration and retail equipment.
