MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) - Belarus and Slovakia are interested in intensifying cooperation between the business communities of the two countries, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI) Vladimir Ulakhovich said as he met with Chargé d'affaires of Slovakia in Belarus Katarina Zakova, BelTA learned from the BelCCI.
The parties discussed ways of bolstering cooperation of Belarusian and Slovak business circles and the prospects for implementing joint business projects, advancing bilateral ties in automotive engineering, electric transport, the production of dairy industry equipment, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, agriculture, information technology, and tourism. The parties also considered the inter-chamber interaction, exchange of business visits, conduct of business events, including an online meeting and negotiations of entrepreneurs, and a presentation of trade, economic and investment opportunities of Slovakia for Belarusian companies.
Vladimir Ulakhovich invited Ms Zakova and the Slovak Embassy employees to partake in the traditional B2B events on the sidelines of the Kupalye festival (Alexandria Gathers Friends) and the Commercial Counselor Day to be hosted by Brest Oblast this year.
