Belarus signs supply contracts, finds new markets at Gulfood 2025 in Dubai

MINSK, 27 February (BelTA) – Belarusian enterprises signed supplies contracts and found new sales markets at the Gulfood F&B event in Dubai, BelTA learned from Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The world's major event in the food industry - the Gulfood F&B event in Dubai, the UAE brought together about 6,000 exhibitors from more than 130 countries. Delegations and representatives of the participating countries are returning home from the exhibition, while the organizers are taking stock of the first results and already announcing pre-orders for booking exhibition space at Gulfood 2026, which for the first time will be held at two venues: at the current venue - the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) and at the new Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) in Expo City.

“Dubai partners have announced the dates as part of the Gulfood exhibition format expansion and renewal conference. The event will take place between 26 and 30 January 2026. The two large-scale locations will ensure a significant increase in space to invite new exhibitors. While in Dubai, we held a number of meetings with the organizers of the exhibition, received confirmation of the exposition space and are already starting to form a pool of Belarusian participants for 2026,” Belinterexpo Director Natalya Kurash said.

The unprecedented demand for participation in Gulfood 2026 in the global community is an indicator of the high authority and professional recognition of the exhibition as the main hub that brings together the best from all regions and continents. “The Republic of Belarus is a reliable partner and a respected guest of the Gulfood exhibition, so among the first meetings of the organizers of the event in 2026 were business negotiations with the team of Belinterexpo,” Natalya Kurash said.

Participation in the Gulfood exhibition for Belarusian producers is a unique opportunity that help them “compare notes” and get the most up-to-date information on the development of the sector, exchange experience with world-class companies, attract new partners and form an agenda for export supplies of domestic goods.

The participants of the Belarusian delegation successfully held a series of business meetings and negotiations with foreign partners, which resulted in the signing of a number of agreements and documents on cooperation, including the planned B2B sessions in the near future. Belarusian producers noted the expansion of export geography, which by now, according to the results of Gulfood 2025 has several dozen countries and regions.

For example, as part of Gulfood 2025 Minsk Dairy Plant No.1 concluded contracts for the supply of skimmed milk powder to Egypt to the total amount of $7 million and sterilized milk to the UAE for $1 million. Rogachev Milk Canning Plant and its branch Kalinkovichi Dairy Plant signed contracts worth more than $1.1 million. Deliveries will be made to the UAE, Bangladesh, Jordan, the USA, Kazakhstan and Cuba.

The Slonim meat processing plant held negotiations and reached an agreement for the supply of 500,000 cans of beef to the Uzbek market in 2025.

According to Belinterexpo, these are just some examples of contracts and established agreements reached by Belarusian enterprises at Gulfood 2025.

Belinterexpo as the exclusive partner of the event will launch applications for participation in Gulfood 2026 in April 2025. Detailed information will be available on the official resources of the exhibition operator.
