Belarus seeks to boost export to China

MINSK, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarus will continue increasing export to China, BelTA learned from Yuri Senko, who was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China on 19 November.

“Increasing export of Belarusian products to the Chinese market is one of our priorities,” Ambassador Yuri Senko stressed.

Belarusian economic entities know how to do business, but they are sometimes wary of expanding into geographically distant countries. “However, as we find more ways to cover this distance, we should definitely increase our presence in the Chinese market. We are working in this direction, gradually but steadily,” he added.

The Belarusian Embassy in China will also work to facilitate access for Belarusian businesses to the Chinese market and help them meet the specific requirements to access the market, the ambassador said. “Many Belarusian businesses have already entered the Chinese market,” noted.

Before his appointment as Belarus' Ambassador to China, Yuri Senko worked as Chairman of the State Customs Committee.
